As reported earlier, Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc. – Hawaii’s largest provider of telecommunications services – filed a voluntary petition under chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code in Delaware on Monday. In addition, the company filed several motions and applications requesting relief from the bankruptcy court to pay certain obligations to employees, vendors and other important parties.
